Samsung’s Sustainability Report 2020

On June 12, Samsung Electronics released the 2020 edition of its Sustainability Report, offering a comprehensive look at the outcomes of corporate sustainability management activities that took place throughout 2019.

The report elaborates on activities related to six key themes:

1. Commitment to the Environment in Our Operations

2. Product Stewardship

3. Enabling People

4. Technology for Good

5. Investing in Our Employees

6. Sustainable Supply Chain

The company also disclosed the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) index for the first time, and strengthened measures for disclosing information based on the guidelines of the Taskforce on Climate-Related Financial Disclosure (TCFD), which were first revealed last year.

Samsung, like many of our members, is putting sustainability at the heart of their business operations.
